A soft cover that fits exactly around the changing mat is the most practical basic in baby's outfit. The fabric is thick, soft and stretchy. The elastic of the edges allows the cover to stay on the cushion. The changing pad is quite cold without a cover and the plastic is not very comfortable. A loose towel slips and does not cover the edges. A standard hydrophilic towel is too small and too thin to properly cover the changing mat.
